  This key is typical of the keys used by the French Post office to send messages over the land-lines. Circa 1919.

  This key was used by the British General Post Office.

  EARLY BRITISH GPO DOUBLE CIRCUIT KEY:(46KB)
  This lovely key was used by the British General Post Office on the complex duplex circuits which allowed simultaneous transmission of code characters on the same lines. Stamped: H. White & Co., No. 4921 III. 1918. Circa 1918.

  EARLY BRITISH PRACTICE KEY AND BUZZER:(49KB)
  This buzzer set was used for training telegraph operators for the military. It was made by Gamages, of London. Circa 1918.
• 
  "KENCO" SEMI-AUTOMATIC KEY:(39KB)
  This Semi-Automatic key or "bug" was made by Kenco and sold by Sears and Montgomery Ward.

  BRITISH GPO P.P. 213A KEY MADE BY MARCONI:(54KB)
  This key was used by the British General Post Office. It carries the model number P.P. 213A., Inst No. 149092. and was manufactured by British Marconi Co.
• 
  MARCONI MODEL 365A KEY:(63KB)
  This widely used key was popular because of its crisp "feel" and excellent workmanship. The label reads: THE MARCONI INTERNATIONAL MARINE COMMUNICATION CO. LTD., LONDON. Type 365A No. 1253.

  MARCONI TYPE 1588 KEY:(23KB)
  This tiny Marconi key was used with portable radio sets. It is stamped: Marconi type 1588. WR No. 493. Wt. 0.6 Lbs.

  DANISH GREAT NORTHERN TELEGRAPH WORKS TYPE ME605 KEY:(22KB)
  This key was made by the Great Northern Telegraph Company of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is now being manufactured by Sedgewell at TRING.
• 
  CANADIAN AIRCRAFT SIGNAL LIGHT KEY No. 2 Mark III:(44KB)
  This key was used for keying the exterior lights of Allied Forces military aircraft during World War II.
• 
  NAVAL PORTABLE SIGNAL LIGHT:(14KB)
  This signal light was used for signalling between British naval ships during World War II. A trigger acts as the key and colored filters may be switched in front of the beam.
• 
  HOMEMADE TELEGRAPH KEY MADE BY A MASTER MACHINEST:(454KB)
  This key was made by a master machinest in Wales. Circa 1990s.
• 
  LABORATORY INSTRUMENT KEY:(25KB)
  This lovely momentary-contact key was used to switch between circuits in an electrical laboratory. It was amde by Philip Harris Ltd. of Birmingham.
• 
  LABORATORY INSTRUMENT KEY:(19KB)
  This key is typical of the keys used in scientific laboratories to switch complex experimental circuits. Keys of this type may also have been used on the submarine cables to switch the positive and negative voltages that were used to reduce the effects of cable capacitance.
• 
  SULLIVAN LABORATORY INSTRUMENT KEY:(19KB)
  This key was used to switch between circuits in an electrical laboratory. It was made by H. W. Sullivan of London and is stamped: Key, Contact, No. 1. Catalog Number WY2365.
